I Just enabled buffering in audio settings and increased my Desired Audio Buffer Duration to 160ms. Commenting so that it might help someone in the future. Check if it's resolved by changing frame rate and fps capping. The FPS drops to where the game is barely playable. Disable sound buffering on rpcs3 settings. Now setting Preffered SPU Threads to 1 fixes the audio completely, but performance greatly worsens. I've also set CPU priority for RPCS3 to high. I've done some research, and system configurations I've tried include Lowering SPU Thread Priority, which seems to improve performance all around with SPU Loop Detection always enabled. Frame rate isn't affected all too much, but I know it has to do with the SPU and CPU not being able to keep up with one or the other. Vulkan, XAudio2 Ive tested both Catherine and Persona 5 and they both have audio cracklings/stutter. Every game I run have audio crackling issues similar to this video I found. Youre currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. just tested again with the latest build 0.0.22-13595 and it seems like the crackling is a lot less now, the game sound effects are playing fine in gameplay now but the the crackling/buzzing sound is still constant sadly, though its severity has been reduced by alot but still imo not in a state where it is bearable. Most games I've tested work perfectly with my PC (a laptop). I'm just starting to use it and seeing what this program can do is incredible.

Rpcs3 audio crackling
